Why Campstash exists

Camping gear should be better to own.

Campstash is built around the whole ownership experience, from the moment gear leaves storage to the moment every part returns home.

Founder built

Less gear chaos. More readiness.

Campstash began with frustration around the parts of camping that exist outside the campsite: soft storage bags, loose components, awkward packing, damaged gear and missing pieces. It is hard to look forward to a trip when simply owning the gear becomes work.

Founder Chandler Ricker wanted a shelter that was as considered between trips as it was at camp. The first answer was a full height Tent System designed around one molded hard case.

That idea became the foundation for Campstash: build complete vehicle camping systems where every part has a defined place.

The whole ownership experience

The trip is bigger than the campsite.

Good gear should remove friction throughout the entire rhythm of a trip, not create more work before and after it.

01

Before camp

Complete systems stay together, pack with a consistent footprint and make it easier to know you have what you need.

02

At camp

Every component has a clear purpose and works as part of one considered setup.

03

After camp

Gear returns to a defined place so storage feels organized and the next trip starts closer to ready.

The first answer

A shelter with a home of its own.

Campstash started by rethinking how a tent is stored, transported, used and packed again. The Tent System brings the shelter, rainfly, footprint, poles, stakes and guylines into one molded hard case.

When camp is over, everything returns to the same place. The case is not an accessory added at the end. It is part of the system from the beginning.

  • One defined place for every shelter component
  • Protected storage between trips
  • A consistent footprint for the truck or garage

Designed in Colorado

A system, not a pile of parts.

The aim is simple: gear that performs when you arrive, packs cleanly when you leave and stays organized until the next trip.

01

Start with the full trip

Design for storage, travel, setup, use and the trip home.

02

Give everything a place

Keep the complete system together instead of accepting loose components.

03

Make it worth owning

Build gear you want to use because it is easy to keep ready.

Founder led and direct

Built close to the experience.

Campstash remains focused on the practical details that shape whether gear is easy to own: how it packs, how it travels, what protects it and where every part goes when the trip is over.

That focus keeps the product story simple. Build complete systems with a defined place for every component, explain them honestly and support the people who take them outside.
