Campstash in the wild
Room to stand. Space to settle in.
A true 9' × 7' floor and 6'6" center height give two adults room for cots, gear, and time inside without feeling cramped.
The difference is what happens after camp
A tent you do not have to fight back into a soft bag.
The case is not an accessory. The tent was designed around it, so every essential piece travels together in one protected, packable format.
Open one case. Everything starts together.
No separate footprint bag. No loose stakes in the truck. No wondering where the rainfly went between trips.
Pack it beside the gear you already trust.
The molded shape stores cleanly beside coolers, totes, recovery gear, and the rest of a truck or SUV setup.
Space you can feel
Built for two people who want actual room.
Stand to change, sleep on full-size cots, and keep essential gear inside without turning the floor into a pile.
- 6'6" center height for standing and changing
- 9' × 7' floor designed around two full-size cots
- Usable room for a cooler, power station, bags, or a dog bed
- Large front door, rear window, and mesh ventilation under the rainfly
Built without the usual shortcuts
Materials are not the story. They are the proof.
Every material choice supports one goal: a substantial 3-season shelter built for repeated vehicle-camping trips.
Three-season protection, stated plainly
Ready for rain, wet ground, and shoulder-season mornings.
The rainfly, sewn-in tub floor, taped seams, full footprint, reflective guylines, and reinforced tie-outs work together as a practical 3-season shelter.
What arrives
One complete shelter. No required add-ons.
The price includes the parts that turn a tent into a usable system—not a base product that still needs a footprint, better stakes, or a storage solution.
Real feedback
The difference shows up in the way people use it.
Direct feedback from people who have packed, opened, and camped with it.
“Love the size and compactness of this setup. Makes vehicle packing way easier and still gives plenty of room inside once it’s up.”RSM Overland · California
“The extended footprint keeps dirt and grass from getting tracked into the tent.”Lisa D. · Montana
Founder built
I kept thinking about everything before and after the tent goes up.
Most tents are judged once they are standing. I wanted to solve the rest of the ownership experience too: how the shelter packs, where every piece lives, what gets damaged in storage, and whether you actually want to pull it out again next weekend.
Campstash is my answer—a full-height basecamp tent built around a molded hard case, with the parts that matter included from day one.
Founder, Campstash

Questions before you order
Clear answers for the last bit of hesitation.
Will the full tent really fit back into the hard case?
Yes. The case was designed around the complete packed system. The tent, rainfly, poles, footprint, stakes, and guylines are intended to return to the case together after each trip.
Will it fit two full-size cots?
Yes. The 9' × 7' floor was designed around two full-size cots with usable room left for bags, boots, a cooler, a power station, or other camp gear.
Is Campstash an instant or pop-up tent?
No. Campstash uses a familiar pole-supported design. The priority is full-height space, a compact hard-case format, and dependable repeated use—not a bulky instant-frame mechanism.
How does it handle rain?
The rainfly and sewn-in tub floor use 3000mm PU-rated protection, the seams are sealed where weather protection matters, and a full 10,000mm-rated footprint is included. As with any tent, correct setup, staking, and tensioning are important.
Is it made for winter camping or a wood stove?
No. Campstash is a 3-season shelter for spring, summer, fall, and shoulder-season camping. It is not an extreme-winter mountaineering tent and does not include a stove jack.
Is this a backpacking tent?
No. Campstash is intentionally built for vehicle-based camping, where interior comfort, organized storage, and durable materials matter more than ultralight pack weight.
What is included in the $299 price?
The tent body, rainfly, shock-corded poles, molded hard case, full footprint, 7mm steel stakes, reflective guylines, and free U.S. shipping are included.
Where does it ship from, and who answers questions?
Orders ship from Colorado. Product, fit, shipping, and warranty questions can be sent to support@campstash.com and are answered directly by Campstash.
